She graduated from New England School of Acupuncture in Boston, MA in 2017 with a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. In 2023 she completed her doctoral studies at Five Branches University in Santa Cruz, CA. She has completed advanced training in women’s endocrinology and reproductive health, as well as autoimmune disorders, TCM dermatology and functional medicine. She has recently moved to Albany, New York to start Life Cycles Clinic with the mission to improve women’s health and wellness using natural healing methods.
Katya grew up in Ukraine and Russia, and moved to the US after getting her Master’s degree in Linguistics and Education. As a child of a military pilot she moved from city to city across the vast Soviet Union. Her Ukrainian mom and grandmother made sure there was good food on the table, and, more importantly — herbal remedies for every ailment. Motivated by desire to be of service to others she set out for a new journey to the US where she found a passion for natural healing. Fast forward to today, she now combines her love of teaching and healing. She truly believes that when patients learn good lifestyle habits, as well as basic physical and mental self-care, they come to know and experience themselves more fully and live happier lives as a result of that.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking wholesome meals, skiing, hiking, and reading a good book on philosophy.
